Bruce Rouser
Sr. Director Engineering
Programmable Power Products Division
Mr. Rouser joined Xantrex Programmable in June of 2007 and has 20+ years of power conversion design and management experience. He has participated in or managed the design of products ranging from less than ten watts to greater than six kilowatts. He has addressed the power conversion needs of a variety of industries that include gaming, industrial machinery, scientific instrumentation, digital imaging, medical monitoring, and life support equipment. Mr. Rouser has worked with domestic production facilities as well as facilities in Mexico, Puerto Rico, Taiwan, and China. He has worked in both high volume, low mix, and low volume high mix and brings an understanding of lean principals as well as a focus on design for manufacturability. Mr. Rouser has helped to obtain and maintain ISO 9001 certifications in previous companies and has a background of developing successful design processes and practices. Mr. Rouser started his career with FMC Ordnance Division where he developed a signal conditioning system for an armored vehicle. He continued his career with Power One in both design and technical management roles before moving on to Condor DC Power. Mr. Rouser spent sixteen years at Condor/SL Power with a one year period at Autec in 1997 before being hired to assume the lead technical role at Xantrex Programmable. Mr. Rouser graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences. Mr. Rouser is currently a member of the board of directors of Xantrex International (BVI). |
